Jeff Corkran
There are almost indescribable elements of memory and storytelling, particularly through generations of families, that are as close as we get to time travel. Heirloom Digital is providing a new way to be thoughtful about designing experiences around those memories, and of using technology in beautiful ways to make those moments meaningful for the future.
Jeff Corkran is an experience strategist with a background of more than 20 years using human-centered design to inform and lead teams in finance, automotive, consumer packaged goods, food, healthcare and technology. Jeff is pivoting towards work for positive social impact. He draws from toolkits within design, finance, story, technology, and engineering to move ideas from impossible to inevitable.
Jeff’s recent work includes projects for the United Nations, the Discovery Channel, XPrize, Wezmore Project, The Unschool, and others. He also recently launched an impact design studio called takka, and is a part of Impact Mill, researching sustainability-centered behavior change.
Jeff was previously at Human Design in Boulder, and was a partner in a user-focused design and development firm in Dallas and Atlanta for about a decade. Prior consulting and digital agency work included large-scale innovation projects for JP Morgan Chase, BMW, Brinks Armored, Mission Foods, large CPG and retail brands, and others.
In addition to design, Jeff has produced and directed a number of video series, content-focused events, short films and digital curricula, in addition to driving engagement strategy and digital experience for films like Discovery’s Racing Extinction.
Jeff is a Fellow at the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity at SMU and a member of the Leadership Council for the Inclusive Economy Consortium.
